On December 23, 2008, Pastor Norm Daugherty passed away, leaving behind his wife, Donna, and their nine children. Because seven of their young children still live at home, Donna is unable to work outside the home for some time. As a ministry to the eight-member family, their Christian community and others are raising funds to build a home (2,276 sq. ft. over a partial basement) using as much volunteer/skilled labor as possible. The house is nearing completion.
